Story

Thank you for supporting NWABA in achieving their mission to provide life-changing opportunities through sports and physical activity to individuals who are blind and visually impaired.

Studies show that individuals who are blind and visually encounter barriers to sports or physical activity due to restricted access, societal stigmas and lack of programs available.

However, Northwest Association for Blind Athletes (NWABA) is changing all of that. By using sports and physical activity as a catalyst, individuals who are blind and visually impaired learn to build confidence, increase self-esteem, develop independence, find community, and become successful in all areas of life.

Whether our athletes choose to achieve their goals through individual competitions or team tournaments, through your support, our athletes learn to build self-esteem, gain independence, become part of a community, and succeed in all aspects of life. We couldn’t do it without you.
