Story

Facebook fundraising makes it easy to share with your friends, family, and colleagues why you support N Street Village- and encourage them to join you! Here are a few tips for a successful Facebook Fundraiser:

1. Tie your fundraising goal to an Impact Statement.

Whether your goal is $37 or $5,000- let your friends know what a huge impact their investment is making. For example, $500 can provide housing and supportive services for two weeks for one woman living with HIV at Miriams House!

2. Make it personal.

Share why you support the Village- whether you have volunteered with us, you've supported us through an event, you have a personal connection to our mission, or you simply believe that every woman deserves a safe and dignified place to call home. Tell a story that will inspire others to join the Village family!

3. Share, share, share!

Encourage donors to share the fundraiser with their networks, making your fundraiser go further.

4. An Attitude of Gratitude.

Be sure to shout out donations in real time to show your network how grateful you are for their support. A little thanks goes a long way!
