Story
Nottingham Arimathea Trust provides supported housing for recognised refugees and destitute asylum seekers, who are otherwise at real risk of homelessness.
Hot water, warm food, and comfortable homes are critical to wellbeing, but the rapidly rising cost of energy bills is making it harder for NAT to provide these essentials. We are determined to limit the impact on the lives of the people we support.
Today, and all week, you can help them by doubling your donation and doubling your impact. A generous friend of NAT has agreed to match donations, but the offer lasts for one week only, from the 20th to the 27th June.
What your donation could do:
With a £10 donation doubled to £20, you can provide someone with hot drinks for 2 months
With a £15 donation doubled to £30, you can help a household run a washing machine and have clean clothes for 3 months
With a £25 donation doubled to £50, you can help keep a room warm for 2 months
However modest your donation, it will mean a lot to our residents. Here's what they have to say about NAT:
If I have any problemsI know that Icancome to Arimathea and all of you support me and I know that the repairs are carried out. I feel safe knowing I have a home to come back to.
Frankly, I would be lost without Arimathea. 100%. I appreciate all the support I have obtained from Arimathea.
