Sleep Out so a young person has a safe place to call home
We want to end youth homelessness and we're tackling the problem locally by providing a home and support to almost 200 young people each night. We help the young people we support to learn essential life skills, build their confidence and provide guidance with their training, education and careers. We also support them maintain their own tenancies as they begin to forge independent lives.
Since being supported by The Benjamin Foundation, I have been helped in lots of ways; I've been supported emotionally and working on managing my expectations and learning how to deal with negative situations.
Sleep Out is our flagship, mass-participation fundraising event, which challenges you to help end youth homelessness by spending one night sleeping outside. The event has raised over £300,000 since 2015 to support our charity's work.
