Story
Thrill-seeking participants have volunteered to abseil down the Spinnaker Tower, whilst raising some pennies to support initiatives to improve the health and wellbeing of our NHS colleagues.
It is Brighterway's mission to support our colleagues, by supporting their health and wellbeing, they are playing their part in enabling the delivery of high quality care of our patients.
Please support our Team to support Brighterway.
A message from Nonnie:-
My name is Nonnie and I’m a Communications Officer for the NHS, I am an artist by background and relish anything creative! I am an avid crocheter and animal lover, contrary to what you might think, I’m a natural introvert and home-body. One little known fact about me is that I enjoy going to metal shows and festivals, and jumping into the mosh pits! This aspect of my life is relatively new and has opened me up to all kinds of other possibilities, which is part of why I’m excited to take on this new challenge. I’m doing the abseil to push myself out of my comfort zone and try something new, as with the metal community, I might meet some wonderful people along the way.
I’m looking forward to the feeling of being at the top and the nervousness/adrenaline/excitement that follows. I’m also passionate about the NHS as a staff member of almost 6 years now, and I look forward to making a difference to staff and service users with the money I’m able to raise.
