Story
Join National Maternity Hospital Foundation's 'Walk to Remember' in October!
The loss of a baby at any stage during pregnancy or after birth is devastating to a family.
October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. The National Maternity Hospital will honour and remember babies who have sadly passed away due to miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death, and other causes of infant loss.
Support the NMH Foundation by walking 5 kilometres on Friday 15th of October when many buildings around the world (including The National Maternity Hospital) will be lighting up in pink and blue to commemorate all babies who sadly died too soon. You can of course choose another day and a different distance if that suits you better.
If you want to join our virtual 'Walk to Remember', please create your 'Walk to Remember' page by clicking the orange button 'Start fundraising' to raise vital funds for the NMH Foundation.
Once your fundraising page has raised E25, you will receive a unique 'Walk to Remember' t-shirt as a special thank you for your support! There is a special heart on the t-shirt so you can write the name of the precious baby you are remembering.
If you have any questions at all or want help with creating your page, please reach out to Marjut on foundation@nmh.ie or 01 637 3372 and she'd be delighted to help you.
