Cal Poly Humboldt Giving Day 2025 · 2 April 2025 ·
Science and art integration provide a powerful way to engage museum visitors in a wide variety of topics. The Natural History Museum of Cal Poly Humboldt (NHM) currently has five art interns, each working on new exhibit/display development. While these projects greatly enhance the museum and visitor experiences, they also require supplies to produce. These projects include mural painting, 3D printing, sculpting, poster printing, etc.
Community engagement events in art and science are also becoming increasingly popular. The NHM is looking to continue hosting scientific illustration evenings and a science and art discovery day. For these events, the NHM is seeking funding to purchase supplies such as drawing paper, a variety of markers, watercolor pencils, pencil sharpeners, paint, etc.
Your contributions to this project help support Cal Poly Humboldt student interns, NHM exhibit development, and community arts and science.
