Story
Please help me raise much needed funds for OYCI, a youth action charity who ensure young people in Clacks have the opportunity to have fun whilst learning new skills and making new friends.
As a member of the OYCI Board, I have the privilege of seeing all the incredible activities and the opportunities that are offered to our local young people for free. Whether these involve drama clubs, youth leadership programmes, computer coding, learning about the local area and its history or one of the many other activities that are offered, there is no doubt these build confidence and enrich lives. Even through lockdown, OYCI found ways to get creative to support the community at a time when it was really needed. Like any charity, fundraising is a key part of making sure we can continue to do this going forwards. I'm delighted to be running in the Alloa Half Marathon, a fantastic local race, to help raise funds and awareness of all the amazing work OYCI does for our community. If you're able to support us in any small way to ensure that we can keep providing such beneficial services for all that would be amazing. Thank you.
About OYCI
OYCI is a youth action charity dedicated to ensuring all young people have the opportunity to have fun! Our projects bring young people together in their community and provide opportunities for personal growth and support their wellbeing. Young people have a voice and a choice in everything we do!
OYCI offers all its activity for free to ensure there is no financial barrier to the young people who participate. OYCI rely on grant and trust funding and individual giving to support this important work developing life skills amongst socially excluded and disadvantaged young people.
