Longest Day: Lasting Care · 20 June 2025 to 21 June 2025 ·
Between now and the 21st June 2025, we will be running our Longest Day, Lasting Care campaign to help fund the very best palliative care for local people and support their families.
Our aim is to raise as much money as possible to fund the vital services provided at Nightingale House Hospice. This will help us run all services during this celebratory year for our 30th Anniversary. Everything from wellbeing sessions and rehabilitation appointments in our specialist gym, to providing tasty, nutritious patient meals and creative therapy workshops, to respite and end-of-life care in our Inpatient Unit and bereavement support for local families.
The campaign will run from Spring 2025 up until the longest day of the year, 21st June 2025. We will conclude the campaign with a 2-day fundraising marathon featuring a 90’s style telethon for donations on the 20th & 21st June, along with various community events on those dates.
This is a brand-new initiative for the hospice, and we are hopeful that it will ignite the imagination of the public. The real beauty of this campaign is that your fundraising efforts will make DOUBLE the impact. For every donation made towards the campaign during this period, our fabulous group of funders, made up of philanthropists, foundations, and businesses, will match that donation. So, £30 becomes £60 for the hospice, and £300 becomes £600!
Whether you can provide a one-off donation, hold a sponsored or social event or work for an organisation that may be interested in match funding, your support would be hugely appreciated. We encourage you to make your pledge today and get in touch.
