Story

We are delighted to have you with us on our fourth incredible challenge a breathtaking 10 days conquering the one and only Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain. Its snow-capped summit rises high above the African plains; huge permanent glaciers flow down from the summit, spectacular views and ice formations are the reward for pushing our limits, both physically and mentally on this, the mightiest of challenges.

Every penny raised helps us in our work caring for local people with life-limiting illness and their families as well as children experiencing bereavement.

This is a tough trek in the world of challenge events which follows the beautiful Machame route approaching Kilimanjaro from the south. With our support and care combined with highly trained leaders and medics we will achieve and conquer the toughest of treks together as one. On reaching the summit we will feel a sense of overwhelming achievement. A truly unforgettable challenge with exceptional support and encouragement.

Thank you from the hospice for all your efforts and for challenging yourself - you are incredible.
