Nexus is an inclusive global platform for social change, social impact, and social justice- oriented networks and we believe that connecting networks is integral in helping young people achieve better life outcomes.
We believe networks become even more powerful, useful and systemically viable when they work in collaboration with other networks. We believe this inter-connectedness is integral in helping young people achieve better life outcomes.
In creating a sustainable enabling environment, we aim to galvanise momentum for youth networks to drive systemic change through collective action.
Through NEXUS (100+ members across 30 countries including 27 in the UK), inHive acts as an inclusive facilitator connecting a broad global reach of civil society organisations, alumni networks, institutions, academia, philanthropists, movements, and activists who collectively work to advance the needs of youth across the globe.
Nexus is a space for members to connect with a like-minded community to feel a sense of belonging and support from others who 'get them'. We build expertise and increase the impact of networks, driving collective action to amplify local and global impact.

The interesting aspect of this project is that the Alumni are now involved in very different activities and contexts: some are employed in Government offices, some in different forms of business, in agriculture; some are leaders at community level. Most of them became a sort of role model for students in school and an inspiration for them to continue actively in their studies

What Nexus Offers:
Shared Expertise: exchange of knowledge and experiences in network practice to create collective intelligence through monthly knowledge & learning sessions, and resource sharing
Collective Advocacy: build a collective data set that articulates (alumni) networks impact on individual and transformational change and raise our collective profile by telling stories and building thought leadership together.
Collaborative Projects: foster a seeding ground for new partnerships that cross-polinate strategies and work from different members for shared impact.

One cause of improved transitions mentioned frequently by head teachers is the role of alumni and other positive role models. This has been cited as a major factor in reducing dropout by changing the perception girls have of themselves.
