Since December 2012 our foodbank has delivered more than 340,000 meals to referred clients within 6 miles of our warehouse based in Killamarsh. The cost of living crisis has impacted the donations and the demand for this valuable community service.

Story

Established in 2012 the foodbank covers a wide area from Dronfield, Killamarsh, Hackenthorpe, Swallownestnest, Clowne and Creswell. Clients cannot self refer as we work with frontline support agencies such as social services, health professionals, and citizens advice. The concept is to help clients in short-term need and sign post the clients to appropriate support such as debt management and budgeting.
