Neil Walmsley a Postie from Leyland will be running the Great Northern Run (13 miles) to raise funds for his union's chairty CWU Humanitarian Aid a UK registered chairty. CWUHA was formed in 1995 and is run by unpaid volunteers who in the main work or worked for Royal Mail, Parcelforce, BT and Openreach. In 2022 CWUHA delivered over 100 tonnes of medical equipment and beds to Ukriane refugees in Moldova and to hospitals in the Ukriane.

All money raised will be spent on the charity's projects in Moldova, Africia and the UK.
