Navaya Rose is 20 months old from Widnes in Cheshire. She is an incredibly strong determined little lady. She was diagnosed with CP 15th August 2022 just 2 months before turning 1.

Her MRI scan confirmed that her brain is a lot smaller than is should be. This condition is called Cerebral Brain Atrophy.

Since then we have be thrown into a completely different world of appointments and tests. We have visited physios, complex need teams, orthotic and paediatric consultants, dietitians and OTs. More sessions and assessments than I can ever keep up with.

This isn't to even mention the specialist equipment she has and will need as she grows. It is scary as hell.

The Nhs are fabulous and amazing with her care and needs but unfortunately not all is on the NHS and we have to pay out for the therapy and equipment she currently needs.

Navaya has started rolling round independently and has recently just started to sit solo which is incredible! With out the therapy we have found for her this wouldn't even be possible. Her doing these different therapies are really giving her the best opportunity to find her own independence.

Our journey is just beginning. Our road is long and so unclear but with every therapy and equipment we can access this will give Navaya a chance of an Independent inclusive amazing life.
