The WISHH National Elf Service Appeal returns!

We are inviting members of our community and local businesses to get involved, to help us spread the festive cheer across Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital.

This year, you can choose which of three options you would like your fundraising efforts to support! Choose from:

* Our fantastic Space to Grow appeal for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

* Gifts for children and medical elderly patients spending Christmas in hospital.

* To help us enhance the hospital experience for the benefit of patients, visitors and staff across Hull Royal Infirmary or Castle Hill Hospital.

If you chose to fundraise for patients spending the festive period in hospital, your support will enable us to buy gifts for children and older patients, as well as providing toys, games and distraction items across hospital wards.

Once you have decided how you would like your Christmas fundraiser to make a difference, drop Lisa Whitton and Abby Wardill of the WISHH team an email at hyp-tr.hellowishh@nhs.net or call us on 01482 622299 and register with us what you're doing and which area you have chosen to support. If you would like to get involved but support specific areas of the hospital, please feel free to get in touch with us and we can make a plan!

Now's the time to start your ultimate festive fundraiser, arts and crafts, baking sweet treats, running like Rudolph a Christmas Carol-athon or something completely different, we want you to join our team of elves this Christmas!

Don your finest festive apparel and let's do something wonderful to support our hospitals.

We even have our special Christmas WISHHes where you can personalise a Christmas star in lieu of writing Christmas cards; donate £5 and have your own Christmas star displayed on trees at Hull Royal Infirmary or Castle Hill Hospital, at home or in the workplace! As well as our Christmas WISHHes, this year we have our Festive Greetings poster! The poster is a great way to print, write and display festive messages to your friends, colleagues and team instead of writing individual cards.
