Our Friend Natasha Dowie will take on The London Marathon to raise funds and awareness for The Owen McVeigh Foundation. This will be Natasha's first attempt at a marathon, please show her your wonderful support .

Story

Friend of The Owen McVeigh Foundation, Natasha Dowie will attempt her first Marathon at The London Marathon 2025, she will do this to raise funds and awareness for The Owen McVeigh Foundation.

Natasha represented the England women's national football team, and as also played for both Everton and Liverpool amongst many other clubs in England, Australia , USA , Italy and Sweden.

Natasha is Liverpool FC Women's record goalscorer and in 2024 became the clubs first official women's ambassador .

Natasha will start her training now for the build up to the big race day, all of us at The Owen McVeigh Foundation are so thankful of her support and wish her the best of luck with her training program.

About the charity

This Foundation has been set up in memory of Owen McVeigh who was only 11 years old when he passed away after a short diagnosis with leukaemia, The purpose of the charity is to raise funds to help and enrich the lives of children who are ill with cancer and their Families in the local area. The Owen McVeigh Foundation is a registered charity, number 1167794
