Story

In April and October 2021*, a team of incredible NASS supporters will be putting their best foot forward at the Royal Parks Half Marathon to help provide specialist support, advice and the most up-to-date information for everyone living with axial SpA (AS).

Since the start of the pandemic, many people with axial SpA (AS) have been unable to see their rheumatology team face to face, or access physiotherapy session and day to day support. As a result, we have seen an increased demand for our services, and have extended our Helpline hours, introduced weekly Facebook Live sessions focussing on different areas of self-management, and set up the new My AS, My Life section on our website so that people can easily find lots of resources to help in one place.

We can only continue this work with the support of our fantastic fundraisers. Thank you so much!

To join #TeamNASS please register on our website or email fundraising@nass.co.uk for more information.

* In April, this will be a virtual run, in October this will be a physical event in London.
