Story
It can be easy for taking time for yourself not to feel like a priority, especially during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Join us in celebrating World Mental Health Day by taking some time out to walk and reconnect with nature.
As many of you may know, we had planned our Mind on the Wall Walk for October 10th. Unfortunately, we have had to postpone as we can no longer meet as a group under the Government guidelines, but we can still help you to plan your own Mental Health Day Walk to ensure that we all mark this important day and do something positive for our own mental health and local services.
The COVID pandemic has been especially hard on smaller charities like ourselves, with the cancellation of many large fundraising events at a time when our services are needed more than ever. Any donations, large or small, can make a real difference, and help us to support our local communities during this difficult time.
We've partnered with Northumberland National Park to provide you with routes, plans and information for walks from 1 to 12 miles in the Northumberland National Park, but you can choose to walk anywhere you like, and whatever distance and pace you feel able to manage. We're still here to help and support you.
You can register for free through our Eventbrite Page so we can support you, and help celebrate your success.
We are so grateful for all of your support, and we hope that you enjoy taking some time out to walk and relax this World Mental Health Day.
