Story
Already, over 2 million people across the country live with impaired vision - with that number set to double over the next 30 years.
We believe that peoples sight matters.
That's why we fund life-changing eye research to deepen our understanding of eye disease and help bring new treatments to patients faster than ever before. It's why we invest in innovative education programmes to help train the next generation of eye specialists.
And it's why we support staff, equipment and new ideas at Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust to help patients across the country access world-class eye care. Ultimately, everything we do aims to make a difference to the lives of people with sight loss - because we believe that peoples sight matters.
Every 15 minutes someone in the UK someone starts to lose their sight.
My Eye to Eye is Moorfields Eye Charity's annual fundraiser where we ask supporters to come together to walk, run or ride five or 15 miles to raise money to support Moorfields. It's up to you where you go- perhaps you'll walk through enchanted woodlands, scooter down the beach front or run over hills and dales. Do it on your own, with you mum, best mates or a canine companion. However you do it, you'll be making a difference to the lives of people with sight loss.
