Story

Join us for a morning of mud, laughter, teamwork, friendship and muddy memories, whilst supporting The Hospice of St Francis.

With every obstacle you overcome and every penny you raise, you will be helping to fortify the Hospice, allowing us to support more local people and their families so that they can live their precious lives well with us for the next forty years and beyond.

So grab your family and friends, step out of your comfort zone and get set to be a mud warrior for the day, making muddy memories as you escape the ordinary and take on the filthiest fundraiser for miles around!

The Hospice of St Francis helps 2,000 local people to live their precious lives well. They give life back by improving symptoms and helping people to achieve personal goals, whilst for others we make the end of life the best it can be. They are also there for loved ones and children affected by loss, helping them to rebuild their lives and live through grief.

The Mud Pack Challenge is a 14 or 7km muddy obstacle course in the beautiful grounds of Ashridge House and surrounding National Trust woodland.

About the charity

The Hospice helps people to live their precious lives well. Our care has many forms – at home, in our outpatient Spring Centre or through specialised care in one of our Hospice beds - and is defined by each person's need. We rely on donations to raise the £5m we need each year to fund our free care.
