Organised by Mustard TreeOn Sunday, April 14th, our fearless fundraisers will be taking on the Manchester Marathon to help Mustard Tree combat poverty and prevent homelessness across Greater Manchester.
Story
Across Greater Manchester, Mustard Tree combats and prevents poverty, inequality, and homelessness.
We provide opportunities for people to help themselves through practical support, life skills and connections into work. We have done this for over 30 years.
However, the scale of need we see is new, unprecedented and growing:
Each month, we now have a footfall of over 10,500 people.
Each month, over 5000 people now access our Food Clubs to get their weekly shopping.
Each month, we provide training to over 270 people, and help Freedom Trainees find meaningful work, but...
...Each month, over 500 people register with Mustard Tree, accessing the charity for the first time.
To help meet this growing need, we need our community to fundraise where they can.
