Story
MS-UK is a national charity here for anyone affected by multiple sclerosis (MS), to empower them to live healthier and happier lives by improving the understanding of MS and providing support where it is needed most. Around 130,000 people live with MS in the UK or one in every 500, with about 130 people diagnosed every week on average
MS-UK put people affected by MS at the heart of our work. We provide high quality, professional services to support people living with multiple sclerosis, and we listen to people affected by MS. To find out more about what we do, please visit www.ms-uk.org.
In October we hope to have our biggest team of runners take on the iconic course around the Royal Parks for MS-UK. With a little bit of help from their friends and family, we have no doubt that #TeamPurple will help MS-UK to raise over and above our target! Please take a look at all our runners' pages, read their stories and help them achieve this target by sponsoring them!
Every single penny donated, no matter how big or small really will make a difference to the work we do.
-£10 covers the cost of seven (newly diagnosed with MS) information booklets to those that have recently been diagnosed
-£100 is enough to cover the cost of one of our helpline officers to take a call and provide follow up support to someone in need
-£2,770 would help us support people through our national MS-UK helpline and web chat for a whole week
Thank you for looking to support us, and go #TeamPurple!
