Many of you know me as Mrs. Laycock, the one who makes your children's lunches. I've been a part of this wonderful community in Alne for the past 20 years, and I have deep ties to our School, as my two youngest children are proud to have attended.
Over the years, I've had the pleasure of participating in various projects at the school, including creating the school garden and even caring for the chickens and pigs with other dedicated parents. My love for this school and its students inspires me to contribute further as we see the school evolve.
To help raise funds for new playground equipment, I've come up with a rather personal initiative: a sponsored haircut. My hair has grown long, and I plan to donate at least a foot of it to the Little Princess Trust, a charity that makes wigs for children battling cancer. This cause is particularly close to my heart. I lost my beloved mother to cancer when I was just ten, and since then, I have lost more family and friends to this cruel disease.
I aim to raise a significant amount of money through this effort, with money going directly to our school for new play equipment and the other part supporting the Little Princess Trust.
I kindly ask for your generous support in this endeavour. Every little bit counts, and together, we can make a meaningful difference. Let’s think big!
Thank you for considering this; your support would mean the world to me.
Much love,
Mrs. Sue Laycock
