Who are we?

Move Momentum is a local charity based in Winchester that aims to make dance accessible to everyone. We provide weekly dance classes for older adults, people with disabilities and people with long-term health conditions.

We believe that dance is for everyone. We strive to make this a reality.

What are we up to?

Amanda (our CEO & dance teacher), Keeleigh (Fundraising Manager & dance teacher) and Lynn (class assistant volunteer) are taking part in Winchester Round Table's 'Pedal Paddle Pace' race.

We will be put through our paces in an endurance test across land and water, as the event consists of 3 legs: 20km bike, 2km kayak, 5km run.

Why we need your help?

Unfortunately, we currently only have enough funding to keep us running for another 6 months, so we need your support to continue our amazing work; providing these vital dance classes to the community.

Our classes are so important to all who attend and are so much more than just a dance class, they are a support network, a community and a place to be themselves and have fun.

How will the money be used?

The money will be used to keep our charity running, with focus on our GEMS (over 65s) and Liberate (wheelchair users) classes.
