Story

The Movement Disorders Centre is the largest multidisciplinary centre for movement disorders combining research and clinical care. Our research work and clinical services cover the full spectrum of movement disorders, including Parkinsons, dystonia, atypical parkinsonism and more.

Our team of world-leading clinical academic experts work to uncover the causes and biological mechanisms underlying Movement Disorders, to improve patient care and to develop new and improved treatments.

Our unique ability to bring together patients, clinicians, data, research programmes and experimental medicine means we are strategically poised to make the next major breakthroughs for Parkinsons disease and other movement disorders.

About the charity

We're the official charity supporting patients, staff and research at University College London Hospitals (UCLH) NHS Foundation Trust. We focus on four main areas. Supporting patient care Training and developing staff Environment and equipment Advancing research.
