Move for Mind is a 30 day challenge designed to get us all a bit more active this winter and raise funds for Derbyshire Mind at the same time! Whether its daily walks, virtual workouts, running 30 miles or cycling 300k over 30 days, you can choose anything that will be a fun way to move.

Why not join as a team by encouraging your friends or colleagues to take up the challenge too? The 30 day challenge does not have to be consecutive days, you can start any time from the 1st December as long as you are finished by the 2nd March 2022 (rest days are encouraged).

The way you join in with Move For Mind is completely up to you, and we encourage you to find something you enjoy and boosts your mood. You don't have to run 300 miles you could dance, box, swim or skip each day. Whatever feels good for you.

The money you raise during Move For Mind will be used to support Derbyshire Mind's Community Mental Wellbeing Services. Derbyshire Mind is your local independent mental health charity within the national Mind network. Our focus is on improving mental health and wellbeing for people across Derby and Derbyshire. We provide a range of advocacy and community mental wellbeing services designed to support local people with mental health problems as well as the wider population.

In the last 20 months things have been difficult for so many of people and mental health and wellbeing has been negatively affected, Derbyshire Mind's Community Mental Wellbeing Services are here to support local people in lots of different ways such as listening spaces, peer support, group activities, and community walks.
