Story
This Mental Health Awareness Week, Shout and Harry Kane are challenging you to get out of your comfort zone and commit to daily exercise from 13 - 19 May, or any other week in May, while fundraising for Shout.
By fundraising, you'll be supporting the thousands of children, young people and adults who text Shout every day with issues including suicidal thoughts, anxiety, depression, abuse, bullying and self-harm.
Once you've chosen your activity, click 'start fundraising' to sign up! You’ll get a free Shout t-shirt (while stocks last) once you score your first donation.
How to get involved
Choose to move in whatever way makes you feel good, whether it’s walking, dancing, running, playing sports or something more extreme! - Harry Kane
Whatever you decide to do, set yourself a target that feels achievable but will stretch you out of your comfort zone.
Once you’ve picked your activity and set up your fundraiser, you’re ready to go! Download our digital fundraising pack and get your friends and family involved.
Why fundraise for Shout?
Every donation you receive could help someone just like this texter, who was struggling with suicidal thoughts:
Thank you for helping me today, there was no one else to help and it was my only life line.
£10 can pay for a conversation with someone in crisis
£25 can fund a clinician to provide expert supervision of conversations on Shout's digital mental health platform.
£250 can train a new Shout Volunteer to take life-saving conversations.
Create your fundraiser on this page and get moving this Mental Health Awareness Week.
