Story
The Museum of the Broads tells the story of the Broads, its people and unique landscape. Its large collection is displayed at a heritage site at the unspoilt Stalham Staithe, Norfolk. Stalham is the Northern Gateway to the Broads.
The Museum's vision is to Bring the Story of the Broads Alive. It is staffed by over 70 volunteers, a part time Curator and Administrator. It receives no government funding and is self-supporting, relying on visitor income and donations. The Museum is also part of the larger Broads community. Local people volunteer and visit and are empowered to be creative and discover their heritage at a riverside location that is 200 years old.
