A powerful 7.2 magnitude earthquake ripped through Morocco last night leaving hundreds dead and injured. Salam Charity is on the ground providing vital essentials to the victims of the disaster.

Every night over 800 million people go hungry and nearly 6 million children die each year from preventable diseases. Salam Charity aims to tackle this by providing lifesaving meals, clean water, sanitation, clothing and education. Salam Charity works in many countries around the world with a particular emphasis on the Rohingya emergency crisis. Salam Charity has a five year strategic plan which will focus on bringing a positive and lasting change in the lives of those affected by poverty. Our aim is to empower people for them to be in charge of their own destinies. We endeavour to support households, local communities and national institutions to develop longer term collective approaches to reinforce their capacities to better respond to, mitigate and prevent humanitarian emergencies and hunger crises. Supported by global celebrities, entrepreneurs, philanthropists, and social media influencers, We have one important mission: to save and change lives for the better. We will do what it takes to bring humanity closer to a world free from hunger and poverty.

Story

A massive 7.2 magnitude ripped through Morocco late Friday night leaving 630 people dead and hundreds more injured.

People lives have been torn apart by this disaster, and most of the death have come in the rural, hard to reach mountainous areas making the relief effort ever more vital.
