Story
Morley College, as a leading provider of adult education in London, has always been a champion of equality of opportunity, and was founded on this very principle back in 1889. Our established Student Bursary Fund has helped secure an entry into adult learning for students irrespective of financial circumstances for many years. Such access can transform lives, empowering individuals with new skills and opportunities to access subsidised funding routes into Higher Education.
As a new three centre college, and as we emerge from lockdown, our ambition is to provide that essential entry into adult learning for many more individuals than we have been able to in the past. We are working with local communities around each of our teaching centres, in Waterloo, North Kensington and Chelsea. The more funding we can invest into our Bursary Fund, the more individuals we can reach and offer life changing opportunities to.
There has never been a more important time to offer the life changing support of adult learning to the people who need it most. Can you help us to do so with a donation to the Morley Student Bursary Fund?
This is what a student bursary has meant to just two of our current students:
"I have come far with Morley. I thank them so much for helping me in a new life, taking care of me and giving me skills. There is no old, no young at Morley, everyone has value. Thank you so much."
"Morley for me is like a family, you turn to your family, your mum and dad for help and this is how it's been for three years. I really appreciate all the help I've been give, the personal help with learning. It is so comforting. I feel really safe, everyone supports you from the canteen staff who are always kind to you guys. I tell everyone what a great place Morley is."
