Story
Over the last few weeks, the rate of COVID-19 infections in India has hit critical numbers, putting a strain on resources, the healthcare infrastructure and medical community. As the country battles the second wave, Morgan Stanley staff in India and their families are also faced with various challenges, as for many their health or that of their families has been directly affected.
Morgan Stanley will provide a dollar for dollar employee match, up to $5,000 USD per employee, on donations made, to a maximum of $250,000.
Via the British Asian Trust we will be supporting Goonj, a disaster relief and humanitarian aid charity, to provide healthcare support ranging from medicines, health kits for COVID care, PPE and testing kits as well as hunger relief programs within communities across India.
Funds will also be used for the British Asian Trust partner Swasth to get oxygen concentrators to hospitals as quickly as possible. Oxygen concentrators are alternate devices to oxygen cylinders while cylinders contain a finite amount of oxygen supply, a concentrator continually recycles oxygen from the air and delivers it to the patient.
100% of your donation will be received by organisations delivering support on the ground in India.
