Story
Please support our #MoreThanAGift Christmas Appeal and help us support more children like Owen this Christmas.
Each year in Northern Ireland another 200 babies will be born with congenital heart disease that will require the support of Children's Heartbeat Trust.
Owen is just one of the incredible children we have supported this year. We are delighted he will spend his 1st Christmas at home with his family after five long months in hospital.
Here is Owen’s story:
In the midst of the whirlwind, Children’s Heartbeat Trust (CHT) became our beacon. They offered vital emotional and financial support in the toughest moments, when Owen was critically ill." - Owen's parents Hollie and Darragh Lydon.
For many other families, this Christmas will be spent away from home, in hospital. This festive season Children’s Heartbeat Trust will provide practical, emotional, and financial support to more than 50 families in hospital and those travelling for their child’s life saving cardiac surgery.
You can help us support these children by donating to our #MoreThanAGift Christmas Appeal.
