Story
One Moonlight Walker taking on the 8 mile route is Holly, who is walking in memory of her mother, Pamela, who spent her last 11 weeks on Hospice in the Wealds In-Patient ward in the 2017. Here, Holly explains what the Hospice meant to her and her family From the second we came to the Hospice we felt so welcomed by everyone. It was both a terrifying time but also a relief when Mum was admitted, It took a while but thankfully her pain was eventually controlled and Mum could enjoy life on the ward. Jacuzzi baths, hand massages, reiki, being able to enjoy the garden and even a haircut! How amazing! The Moonlight Walk is a brilliant way for us to remember my Mum in the beautiful surroundings of Knole Park. I am lucky enough to have many of my good friends who have supported me throughout this journey walking alongside me. Mum would be so pleased and proud to know that we are helping to raise money for the hospice. Please Mum keep the rain away!
