Story
The Molineux Sleepout is back for 2022!
Wolves fans and residents of the city are invited to spend a night sleeping rough in the Stan Cullis Stand to raise funds and awareness to support the homeless, vulnerable and the City of Wolverhampton.
Wolverhampton has a population of 263,537 and is amongst the 20 most deprived areas in the UK. The city falls 13th in ratings for education deprivation, eighth for income deprivation, fifth for youth violence in the West Midlands and sixth for employment deprivation. Wolverhampton, like so many cities around the country, is experiencing high levels of inequalities which is impacting unemployment rates, food poverty statistics and peoples mental health.
All funds raised will be shared between Wolves Foundation and the Good Shepherd, the charity situated opposite Molineux which provides food and a range of support services for those in need from the local community.
The fundraiser will run from 7pm - 7am in the Stan Cullis Stand, with registration opening at the North Bank Bar entrance 7pm - 8pm.
The entry fee is £30 for adults and £15 for under 18's. (Age 13 and above only)
Under 18's will need to be accompanied by adult.
Parking will be available on the Stan Cullis car park.
