The Molineux Sleepout is back for 2021!
Following the success of the first ever Molineux sleepout and last year's virtual sleepout, Wolves Foundation are back this year with a return to Molineux.
Wolves fans and residents of the city are invited to spend a night sleeping rough in the Stan Cullis Stand to raise funds and awareness to support the homeless, vulnerable and the City of Wolverhampton.
Wolverhampton has a population of 263,537 and is amongst the 20 most deprived areas in the UK. The city falls 13th in ratings for education deprivation, eighth for income deprivation, fifth for youth violence in the West Midlands and sixth for employment deprivation. Wolverhampton, like so many cities around the country, is experiencing high levels of inequalities which is impacting unemployment rates, food poverty statistics and peoples mental health.
All funds raised will be shared between Wolves Foundation projects including Feed Our Pack to alleviate food poverty and the Good Shepherd, the charity situated opposite Molineux which provides food and a range of support services for those in need from the local community.
The fundraiser will run from 7pm - 7am in the Stan Cullis Stand, with registration opening at Wolfie's Den entrance 7pm - 8pm. The entry fee is £35 per person with parking on the Stan Cullis car park included. All tickets must be booked online via the official Wolves ticketing site.
