Story
My wonderful little boy, Moh, is 5 years old and was diagnosed with autism when he was three. He is non-verbal but makes repetitive sounds, including screaming noises, to communicate.
Autism affects his social communication, fine and gross motor skills. Moh has been receiving occupational therapy since he was 6 months old. However, he still needs continuous support with daily tasks such as eating, as he cannot use a spoon or fork independently.
Due to his sensory processing disorder, Moh requires integrated sensory occupational therapy to help improve his social participation and enable him to complete day-to-day activities.
With your help and support, we can provide Moh with the opportunity to move forward with sensory occupational therapy. This therapy has been proven to reduce the severe impact autism has on children’s lives by improving communication, social interaction, behaviour, and motor skills.
Whatever you can contribute will be so helpful in giving Moh the chance to thrive. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
