It will allow for immediate assessments, ensuring that pregnant people receive the necessary monitoring and reassurance during critical moments. This new ultrasound scanner will be especially beneficial in supporting a Rainbow or Pregnancy after Loss clinic, offering a vital tool for the midwifery and obstetric teams to provide bedside ultrasound scans to women who are pregnant following a previous baby loss. This will offer immediate reassurance and personalised care. it will also not only support with clinical decision making, but also provide emotional support to families navigating the complexities of pregnancy after loss, ensuring they feel seen, supported, and confident in the care they receive.
