Story

Mitzi came into to us 7 months ago, after his owner went into a care home. He is around 8 years old. He was put on a strict diet as was quite overweight and was seemingly in better health. Last week he was reserved and was simply waiting to go to his new home. However, last night 29 April, Mitzi's carer went into his kennel and noticed his back was curved, he was in pain and not his usual happy self. Mitzi was immediately taken to the vets.

He was referred to The Ralph and after an MRI scan he was diagnosed with a slipped disc. He has been booked in for surgery at The Ralph. The Ralph are a superb facility and will provide the best care for Mitzi, we have been dealing with them for years and therefore they reduce their costs as much as possible and also provide us with a discount, the cost however is still high and we have been told that it will be at least £7600.

As an independent charity we rely on donations to keep going. A cost such as this is a big hit to us so we ask that you help if possible. We know times are difficult so even if you could simply give the cost of a coffee every penny will help. Mitzi needs a pain free retirement.

All funds raised will go towards the care of Mitzi and any other dogs in need.
