Minds Up is a service run by South East London Mind across the boroughs of Bromley, Lewisham, Lambeth, Southwark and Greenwich.
It is a free, in-school training programme developed by SEL Mind specifically for secondary school pupils. Five children in every classroom are likely to have a mental health problem so this programme is here to increase young people’s awareness of poor mental health, helping them recognise the signs and take action.
Since beginning the programme over 6249 young people have received training and over 495 young people have come forward to seek mental health support. This service relies almost entirely on fundraising revenue and we want to continue to help more young people with their mental health.
