Story

The Mindstep Relay will run non-stop from Friday 28 March 4pm - Sunday 30 March 7pm, to raise awareness and funds for suicide prevention.

Each team member will choose a 1-hour time slot to complete an activity of their choice (walk, run, dance etc.) before passing the virtual baton to the next volunteer and so on!

Our aim is to fundraise £10,000 for suicide prevention research over the weekend. Thank you to all who have signed up, donated and supported the relay team.

You can still sign up and join the relay here !

The Mindstep Foundation has been established in memory of Max Davies, who tragically died by suicide in 2018 at the age of 22. Mindstep funds postgraduate research at the University of Glasgow into the causes of suicide and interventions for those at risk.

By funding research into the causes of suicide, and working to raise awareness of both the warning signs and consequences of mental health conditions going untreated, the Mindstep Foundation aims to break the stigma attached to admitting, confronting and dealing with mental health issues.
