Warmley Wheelers is a community project dedicated to making cycling accessible to everyone. In 2024, we proudly facilitated 1,400 life-enhancing rides, empowering individuals with learning disabilities, health conditions, and those on the journey to recovery from illness or injury to experience the freedom and joy of cycling.
Our amazing Project Coordinators, John and Edouard, are gearing up for an extraordinary adventure to support Warmley Wheelers. On Saturday, 14th June, they will begin an epic four-day journey, covering 257km on a side-by-side tandem bike weighing an impressive 92kg! This inspiring feat will raise vital funds and awareness for our mission, breaking down barriers to cycling and creating unforgettable experiences for our community.

Miles for Milestones kickstarts our fifth annual Warmley Wheelers Summer Challenge! Between 21st June and 21st July we are asking our supporters to set their own cycling challenge to raise money for Warmley Wheelers. This might be cycling one of the legs of our Miles for Milestones challenge (or the full distance!), taking on a distance challenge using one of our adapted cycles, or cycling every day for x number of days - it's entirely up to you! Warmley Wheelers is an open access, all-inclusive cycling project supporting people with long-term health needs. Set up in 2014, we offer specialist equipment and a safe, friendly environment to support people who might find it difficult to ride a standard bike. Our site is based just off the Bristol to Bath railway path next to Warmley Waiting Room Café, so cyclists may make use of the public cycle path or our own woodland trails.
This project is reliant on external grants, private donations and fundraisers. We are so grateful for the support that we receive from the community year on year - without it, Warmley Wheelers would not exist!
