More than 80% of orphans in Mandera don't get access to quality education due to poverty or lack of support systems to help with their education.

Beyond Borders Orphan Aid is founded with the aim of helping orphans in Mandera get access to quality education by providing them with scholarship funds, mental health resources and mentorship programs.

With the help of our team in Mandera, we carried out a needs assessment and selected 10 orphans to support. We secured one donor here in Middlebury, and we have been able to implement one of our programs.

Currently, we have been in touch with a Midd alum who pledged a $10,000 matching grant, to help expand both our team and impact, and we are hopeful for more supporters.
