Story

🎉 Giving Day Total Includes General Match! 💰

⚽🎉 EXCITING MATCHING OPPORTUNITY! 🎉⚽

A generous member of the Cal Poly Humboldt community is matching all gifts to Men’s & Women’s Soccer—dollar-for-dollar up to $5,000!

PLUS—for Men’s Soccer—there’s an additional $1,000 match from Kimo & Sheila Haynes, proud Cal Poly Humboldt parents! 💚💛

That means gifts to Men’s Soccer could be tripled, and gifts to Women’s Soccer will be doubled—all helping our student-athletes train, travel, and compete at their best. 💥💸⚽

The Cal Poly Humboldt Men's Soccer team is taking action to strengthen the program and make a real difference in the community. We’re raising funds to provide student-athletes with the resources and scholarships they need to compete at their full potential. At the same time, we’re expanding connections with local soccer communities and giving back through service projects that make a lasting impact.

Your support means everything. It helps us grow as a team, compete at the highest level, and stay committed to serving the greater Humboldt community. This isn’t just about soccer—it’s about using the program’s platform to create opportunities for growth and learning and to bring people together beyond the university.

Please join us in this effort. Every donation helps us build a stronger program, deepen community ties, and empower the next generation of Lumberjack leaders. Together, we can do more than win games—we can create positive change through service, leadership, and the spirit of competition.

About the charity

Cal Poly Humboldt students enjoy an extraordinary college experience, taking small classes taught by professors who know them by name. They live and learn in one of the world's most beautiful places—near ancient redwood forests, mountains and beaches.
