Story

Harper Harriet💕

Our baby girl, arrived on the 30th July 2019 made us a mummy & daddy we were so amazed with how perfect she was.

She had a beautiful smile that no one will ever forget, with a loving soul you could see the love she had Just by looking into her eyes.

We nicknamed her ‘Thumpa’ from day 1 of being pregnant, it stuck forever we still call it her now everyday when we’re talking about her, memories or telling her baby sister & brother.

We had the most perfect summer, 3 & half months with her, till the day our hearts were broken when we was told she had cancer, her mum found a lump size of a pea on her collarbone/neck took her drs the same day not knowing how much life was going to change for the 3 of them

8th November was our first trip to the hosp, We was told it was either neuroblastoma or

Rhabdomyosarcoma, which we was heartbroken about but told they had a okay survival rate. To then have biopsy 19th November, to be told on the 26th it was malignant rhabdoid tumour which was 5% survival rate, then went to 3% due to it spreading, she was then started on chemo she done absolutely amazing whilst on it, she was still so happy, always smiling despite how poorly she really was, you couldn’t tell by looking at her

A few days before Christmas she tried her first chocolate which was a ripple & a custard doughnut as she was staring at her daddy with her big blue eyes, couldn’t not share with her. Then on Christmas Eve we was begging to go home Just for one night to wake up all together Christmas Day, she had so many presents all wrapped under the tree we was so excited when they said she was okay to go home for a night, we went home put on our matching thumper pjs that daddy got us.

When we woke up Christmas morning we noticed a change in her eyes, the was slightly crossed but we knew something wasn’t right, we went back to the hospital to have a urgent mri scan, to be told it spread to her brain and she had days maybe a week if we’re lucky. Our hearts sank no parents should ever have to hear the sentence.

We could see her slowly decline over the days as the tumour was getting bigger we was trying so hard to be strong for her, we cuddled her, read books, sang to her, had 4D moulds of her hands and feet, recorded her heartbeat for a teddy, it was like living a nightmare, we had such a happy smiley baby girl on Christmas Eve, to then Christmas Day a very very poorly baby

On New Year’s Eve at 2pm we lost the most precious thing in our lives, she passed away surrounded by her loved ones in daddy’s arms whilst mummy lay on her chest listening to her heartbeat till it stopped. Our world collapsed within seconds, mummy went numb & daddy couldn’t stop crying

30/07/19 - 31/12/19

Forever 5months 1 day old💕

We would do anything to have our baby girl back, she was so beautiful with big blue eyes, perfect nose and a beautiful smile

Christmas is such a hard time for us 4 years on we still feel just as numb as we did then.

Having a headstone for her would be the best thing we could ever have for her to make her little garden look so special just how she deserves.
