Story

This medieval copper alloy mace head, comprising of two joining fragments, was found in the small village of Barnham Broom.

Maces were an ideal choice of weapon for close combat, with their ability to inflict great damage on enemies through powerful blows. This mace still has two rows of blunt projections but would have probably had three rows originally. These pyramid projections would have allowed for greater penetration of plate armour. Ouch! Maces were even used by battle-going bishops, offering them a way around the command to churchmen not to spill blood. Bashing enemies, however, was acceptable!

Nowadays, we see maces more as ceremonial objects and symbols of status - so why not show off your status by adopting this object! This would also be perfect for any gamers, larpers or general history enthusiasts or maybe someone who just likes clubbing. So, why not take a swing on sponsoring this spectacular mace head?
