Bismillah! In the name of Allah and by the grace of Allah, we are delighted to share this blessed news with you all!
The Mecca Mosque new masjid project is about to embark on its transformative journey, starting with Phase 1, dedicated to groundworks and steelworks. It is a momentous occasion for our mosque and community, as we prepare to commence this noble endeavor on the 10th July 2023.
The Mecca Mosque new masjid project carries a sacred purpose, aiming to elevate our mosque to new heights. It seeks to fulfill the needs of our ever-growing Muslim community. With an estimated total cost of £5.5 million - £6 million (approx), we place our trust in Allah to bless our efforts.
During Phase 1, we will lay the spiritual foundation of our mosque through meticulous ground works and the installation of steel structures. Just as the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) emphasised the importance of a strong foundation, we strive to ensure the stability and endurance of our beloved mosque, worthy of being a beacon of faith and guidance.
On Monday 10th July 2023, we embark on the first phase of the Mecca Mosque new masjid project. We understand the importance of patience and attention to detail, aiming to complete this phase within a reasonable timeframe. Phase 1 alone demands a financial commitment of approximately £1.45 million, as we dedicate ourselves to constructing a place of worship that reflects our devotion to Allah.
We are humbled by the overwhelming support and unity of our community for the Mecca Mosque new masjid project. Together, we recognise the significance of having a modern facility that can accommodate our increasing number of worshippers. Our goal is to create harmony and a welcoming environment for people of all backgrounds and ages.
