The Wey Valley Fundraising Group have been together for 10 years and in that time raised over £184,000 since the Fundraising Group program was set up in 2011. Covering the areas of Chertsey, Byfleet, West Byfleet, Weybridge, Hersham, Esher, Claygate, The Moseleys and Cobham. Youll see them out bucket collecting during The Great Daffodil Appeal and Christmas. The group also organises regular fundraising events in the community, our last was a very popular musical choir sing-a-long with fish & chip supper.
Since 2011, Marie Curie has set up Fundraising Groups across the UK to help raise money and awareness for the charity in their local area. They are a vital part of the Marie Curie family, raising a fantastic amount each year to help ensure we can keep supporting people living with a terminal illness and their loved ones. This is through our wide range of services including hospices, nursing, Information and Support services and research.
