Welcome to the fundraising page of The Dwyfor and Meirionnydd Fundraising Group for Marie Curie.
This page is more than a simple fundraising page, as well as being a space for you to donate directly to our group, it allows YOU to create YOUR own personal page as a linked page for any event or activity you choose to do, including our forthcoming the Castle to Castle Challenge 2022 that has been organised by the Rotary Club of Pwllheli and our local volunteers.
To create your own just giving page (that is linked to The Dwyfor and Meirionnydd Fundraising group), simply click the orange START FUNDRAISING button on the top, right hand side of this page. This will take you to a new window where you can input your own information about what you are doing and why you will also able to add photos and updates. Once set up you will be able to share with your friends and family. All the money you raise personally will show on it, but with the added benefit of this money being attributed to our local services. This also means that we as a group can see what is being raised for us as a collective and celebrate all of our efforts.
WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THE CASTLE TO CASTLE CHALLENGE?
The Castle to Castle Challenge is a 20 mile charity walk from Criccieth to Harlech and you will need to register before the event to take part on
https://castle2castle.eventbrite.co.uk
Starting your journey in the historical seaside town of Criccieth, home to Criccieth Castle, that is perched up high and built in 1230.
Following the beautiful Welsh Coastal Path, with dramatic views across Tremadog Bay, the 20 mile route is a fairly flat course.
Taking you across the vast Black Rock Sands, through the sandy coves of Borth y Gest and along the nature rich flatlands of Snowdonia National Park to Harlech and it's 13th century castle.
This event is organised by the Rotary Club of Pwllheli and it's aim is to raise funds for Marie Curie, who provide end of life care in your communities.
The entry for this event closes on Monday 6 June 2022.
In addition to your entry fee, we ask that you aim to raise a minimum of £30 for Marie Curie, if you would prefer to make a donation to the charity rather than collect sponsorship, an online fundraising page link will be included in your registration pack.
All profits from entry fee (and of course, your sponsorship) go to Marie Curie.
All information will be sent to you via email, if using facebook sign up, please ensure your current email address is linked to your account.
We can't wait to meet you all!
Thank you from all of the walk organiser team members.
