Story

In January 2020 we began working in aid of Manchester Central Foodbank to support the most vulnerable people in the communities around our football club. Since then, City fans have become the biggest regular donors to the foodbank and helped thousands of our neighbours who are experiencing the impacts of poverty in the 6th richest country on earth.

Our bread and butter is collecting food donations on matchdays (weekend home games for the men’s team, occasionally the women's) but we know lots of people would rather donate cash online rather than take food to the game. We have also been approached by groups of City fans who want to run their own foodbank fundraisers but aren’t sure how to send donations so that they reach the right place.

With that in mind, we have set up this permanent fundraising page in aid of Manchester Central Foodbank which MCFC supporters (and others!) can contribute to as a one-off, or if they want to set up a fundraiser or event of their own by clicking the orange 'Start Fundraising' button above.

Football fans together can make a huge difference in their communities and City fans keep proving this each and every day. We hope that this fundraiser will continue to do the same.
