About The Master Cutler’s Challenge

The Master Cutler’s Challenge is an entrepreneurial challenge. Companies, organisations and individuals are given £50 by the Master Cutler to show their Entrepreneurial Flair and community spirit for the Master’s nominated charity. The idea is that each participant grows this into an amount that is a significant multiple of the original funding. All proceeds go to the Charity so they can in turn grow their outreach and the benefit to the local community.

Initiated by Past Master Gordon Bridge in 2015 the Master Cutler’s Challenge (MCC) has benefitted many charities across Sheffield, Hallamshire and South Yorkshire and provided a lot of fun to the participants. The MCC believes that the work done by local charities needs supporting locally and whilst it cannot support everyone each year it can surge in support of the specific charities that the Master Cutler wishes to support in their year.
